Orbis terrarum ck211/22/2023 Meanwhile, just about the whole of Asia is either Tibet or a churning mass of rebellion, war, and changing national colors. I spread as quickly as I could, breaking down their War Exhaustion, and eventually caused riots.įrancia's completely swallowed the British Isles and a bit more of the German states, but Andalusia, the Abbasids, and Sijilmasa have put together a solid alliance that slightly outnumbers the French in just about every area, and are working with the Byzantines to strangle French merchants. I dumped masses of monarch points into my territories and built stable allies (or destroyed, slowly and non-agressively, my rivals).Įventually I launched a suicide war against the Roman Empire (who had got into a war with the Parthia a few months prior). I played as a small nation of Frisia on the border of the Roman Empire. My more impressive game was in the Extended Timeline mod, a few months ago. I would get into wars with Abbasid but due to territory value at that point, and simply due to the size of our empires, the 10 to 40-year wars were simply not worth it ergo, it became a stalemate. There were a few small states left, but definitely less than 30. In the end it came to a stalemate end-game when there were 4 blobs in the Old World Me, Abbasid, some russian-type (Muscovy perhaps) and a China-type. In short, I was playing as the Rome and expanded over all of Europe. Mighty Effects - : This mod will make particle effects look modern and in line with more recent total wars.Unfortunately, I've lost my best savegame. Mod teams will need to discuss the use of my assets with me. Individual modders who wish to use these assets should shoot me a message and Ill likely give permission. It is for this reason that any mod page which links or has a donation system associated with it will have to speak to me directly and ask for permission. Even donating to authors for their work is too near the chance of modders locking content behind paywalls and separating paid users from unpaid ones. I have a personal issue with the idea of linking any type of monetary function with modding and feel it is best to have the two entirely separate. UPDATE TO PERMISSIONS POLICY: As time has gone on, I have seen the ever increasing presence of donations and patreons associated with Total War Modding. YES, THIS MOD IS COMPATIBLE WITH DIVIDE ET IMPERA. You technically can fuse my environment mods by having both active but the effects will vary based on your taste in lighting. This mod is meant to replace Flora HD and my previous environment mods. This mod is compatible with ALL mods that do not alter the environment and terrain textures. Other than that, this mod has been optimized and will continue to be optimized to run close to Vanilla Extreme settings performance This seems to happen mostly on Winter maps since the game adds another post-processing layer over the terrain. I have only noticed this on large city battles with multiple effects on the map. If you use max settings, be sure you have a more recent GPU otherwise you will run into occasions where Graphical Memory will run low. This mod pushes Rome II's visuals to the near limit. Some items will take more time and this extensions could occur. This mod will be updated on (I hope) a weekly basis with new features. BETA FEATURE: Campaign lighting for Summer is updated from Campaign HD, Spring, Autumn, and Winter will be updated at a later date. Desert, and Eastern Desert Environments share same battle lighting, this will change in the future. BETA FEATURE: All current Rain, Fog, Night, Storm environments are Pre- Emperor Edition Lighting. New city textures for battles which sync with the new battle lighting. Updated and retextured flora which syncs with the new battle map lighting. Campaign lighting incorporating Rome II: Campaign HD Dozens of environments which cover all regions of the map and all campaigns. Over time more environments will be added and custom crafted to expand the diversity of Rome II's battles. The mod features environments custom edited and sourced from Rome II, Attila, and Thrones of Britannia. The goal of this mod is to bring a modern look to Rome II and bring it in line with the likes of Total War: Attila and Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia. Orbis Terrarum II is the sequel mod and follow up to 2018's Orbis Terrarum. Landscapes, lighting, and textures are subject to change upon final push to 1.0. READ ME: This is the open beta of Orbis Terrarum II. Screenshots feature Phazer's Enhanced Cities, Might Effects and action shots feature Vanilla and Divide et Impera units. READ: Screenshots taken with Orbis Terrarum II active with 20 Gamma and 12 Brightness at 1080p resolution, Extreme Settings (4x Anti-Aliasing).
